Domestic Violence

By working with perpetrators of domestic violence as well as victims and children, we strive to break the cycle of violence in families and the community.
The Domestic Violence program at Valley Family Center provides case management, support groups and professional counseling for victims of domestic violence and their children. The Center works under the philosophy of the Violence Against Women Act, and with the State Victims of Crime program to secure funding for victims where appropriate.
Valley Family Center provides a 52-week, county certified anger management program, as well as counseling and case management for perpetrators of domestic violence. The program is one of the largest in the Valley, with 14 support groups that meet weekly.
